Working one on 1-on-1 with an experienced coach to attack your goals is a game changer. If you've felt stagnant, haven't been hitting your goals, or don't quite know where to start or what to do, a Themo Performance Coach will get you on track to success. It's okay if you don't have specific goals in mind right now. We believe directed and intentional training is the path to success, and your coach will build that path with you.

Just a short list of things you will receive from working with a dedicated coach with 1-on-1 coaching. No more second-guessing your training plan or aimlessly doing whatever equipment is available at the gym that day. You will break through plateaus and reach heights you haven't hit before. 

 

Your training paradigms will be fashioned around your time availability, your equipment, your goals, and your life. Your training is adaptable on a short-term and long-term basis. Work gets crazy on Tuesday's and Thursday's? Your coach will adapt your training to account for that. You want an at home workout once a week with just bands? Your coach will design that too, no problem.

Performance is more than just movement.

​

Performance extends beyond training. The main pillars of performance are movement, sleep, nutrition, hydration, breath, and being outdoors. We perform at work, in the gym, with our kids, studying, the list goes on. Your coach will see the whole picture, and support you in all facets with a weekly check-in. With that information, your coach will make adjustments as needed.

We prioritize technique and proper form as the foundation to build upon. Your coach will carefully and thoughtfully progress and adapt your program to avoid injury, burnout, and extreme fatigue. You don't need exercise experience. Your coach will meet you where you are at. Everyone's baseline is unique to them and so is their journey.

Your training will be designed around YOU. Your training status, your goals, your wants, your movement needs, and your life. As you progress through training, your coach will be right there with you, continuing to adapt your program for you to continue towards growth. The beauty of 1-on-1 coaching is that it is adaptable on a week by week, even a day by day basis. Because of the open communication between you and your coach, you are able to continuously work together. Your coach will work with you. Your program isn't written one day and never changes, it's fluid to adapt to your wants and needs.

The most important principle of training is specificity. There is always a reason behind the paradigm, and you'll be able to learn the why from your coach.

Everything starts with a conversation. You will have the chance to meet and talk to your coach before you jump in with a free consultation, and discuss your expectations and where you are looking to improve your performance to ensure we are the right fit for you.

Do I need prior exercise or sport experience?

No! No matter your training level, completely new to training or well-trained for 10 years, your coach will work with you to progress you toward your individual goals. We will always meet you where you are at.

How do I receive my program?

We provide our programming through TrueCoach, an easy-to-use app and web-based training platform. Your coach will walk you through how to log in prior to starting training. A couple links to help troubleshoot: client experiencehow to use, email notifications, connecting MyFitnessPal for nutrition, and changing your password.

How often will I talk to my coach?

Your coach can see your training session updates in real time and will be frequently checking your training throughout the week via TrueCoach. Your coach will be able to give feedback on each individual training session and fine-tine your training for the following weeks and months. You also receive weekly or bi-weekly check-ins via Zoom or Google.

What makes a good client?

The desire to be better! It doesn't matter where your step one is as long as you are willing to put forth the effort and the work. You are the only one that can get you to your goals. 

What is the commitment for coaching?

Our coaches are committed to getting to know you and creating lasting relationships with their clients. You can cancel at any time, but we recommend committing to at least 3 months to create healthy habits, implement change, and see results.

What kind of nutrition recommendations do I get?

Our coaches have years of experience coaching clients on manageable ways to eat that will fuel your body with quality foods. Because each program is completely customized, your coach will discuss nutrition with you and identify your top priorities. For some clients this may be simply drinking more water and eating more slowly. You will also receive the Education E-Book that covers Nutrition Basics and Nutrition 101. Your coach will provide as much information as they can within their scope of practice and accountability you need to form habits that support your needs and give you the confidence to make great nourishment part of your everyday routine. You also have the opportunity to consult with our nutrition team for more pointed nutritional information. Your first consultation is free!
